The L41 is a 6-Way Transfer Seat for the driver side. It fits non-lowered floor full size vans from 1996 to present. Designed to bolt to the floor without extra drilling, it fits over the airbag sensor located under the driver’s seat. The 6-Way Transfer Seat moves forward and back, raises up and down, and swivels.

The L71 is a 6-Way Transfer Seat Base for multiple applications but used primarily for the passenger side of both converted and non-converted full size vans. The L71 may also be used in vans older than 1996, where there is no airbag sensor that needs to be negotiated. Available in both driver and passenger position, the L71 is very customizable. (See Full Size Van Options below). The 6-Way Transfer Seat moves forward and back, raises up and down, and swivels.

Full Size Van Options (L41, L71 and LS51D Models) 180 Degree Swivel: Allow rotation of the seat 180 degrees, so that the user has greater flexibility in how they transfer into and out of the seat.

Hand Held Pendant: Our standard Easy Access switchbox with an extended harness and shorter switches provides the user with an increased range of where they place their controller.

Extended Travel: Rails and slide gear bars can be customized to offer even further travel options. Discuss this option with your Dealer if you’re in need of increased forward and back travel.

Trim Package: A set of three covers that match the OEM interior of your vehicle. Providing OEM aesthetic quality and made with ABS material, these covers keep the moving mechanisms of the base concealed and protected (Available on model LS51 only.)

Three Axis Extended and Lower Mobility Seats

The 3100 mobility seat is intended to be installed in pick-up trucks. When activated, the Freedom Seat smoothly rotates, extends, and ascends or descends in-to or out-of the vehicle so you are perfectly positioned on the ground or behind the wheel. It has a weight capacity of 350 lbs as well as multi-access programmability for optimal axis movement.

The 3200 has all the same features of the 3100, except it is designed for a passenger set-up and can be installed in SUV’s, sedans, and minivans.

The 3300 & 3400 mobility seats offer you the flexibility to enter from the front passenger position using an after-market seat, or from the mid-row using the original or after-market seat.

Freedom Sciences has a complete line fully-powered articulating mobility seats. After years of meticulous development and research, Freedom Sciences brings to market multiple seating applications for Passenger Vans, Mini-vans, Trucks, and Full-Sized Sedans. Our multi-axis movement allows us to fit our Freedom Seat into tighter applications hence providing more flexibility and span more vehicle applications than was previously available. With the patent pending Freedom Seat base, the end users seating pathway is custom programmed to their specific needs, optimizing every inch in and around the door opening – this maximizing feet and leg room while entering and exiting the vehicle. The Freedom Seat also offers seat products which are driving or passenger applications that exit the vehicles from the second row bay door. This innovative design allows for easy transfer in and out of vehicles by providing greater space outside of the vehicle for larger power chairs, wheelchairs, or scooters.

Retaining the OEM/factory seat should always be explored as it preserves the safety and comfort functions initially designed into the seat. Retaining the OEM/factory seat requires a series of client measurements that your Freedom Seat dealer is trained to perform, and if the OEM/factory seat requires adjustments for final fitting, either your local dealer or Freedom Sciences can provide this service. Alternatively, you can choose from one of our premium, aftermarket seats if the OEM/factory seat can not be used in conjunction with the Freedom articulating seat base. Either way, the Freedom Seat’s state-of-the-art articulating base has no equal in providing superior pathway seat performance, safety, and comfort.

Reduced Liability
Sure Grip’s new Left Foot Accelerator with electronic was developed to limit if not eliminate your liability. By all but eliminating any chance the device can be used by anyone other than the intended user.

Safety
Sure Grip’s unique 15 second activation window only allows the accelerator to be activated for 15 seconds after vehicles start up. The accelerator will not engage after 15 seconds without a restart of the engine.

Installation
Sure Grip’s new accelerator is permanently mounted, eliminating the need for removal of the device to prevent unwanted usage. Gas & Brake Pedal Extenders:
Sitting too close to a driver-side airbag is not only uncomfortable, but dangerous as well! The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recommend that drivers be seated as far away from the steering wheel of the vehicle they’re driving as possible. A common rule of thumb is to have a distance of no less than 10” between the wheel and the driver. Sitting closer than this can put you at a higher risk of injury if you’re in an accident and you airbag deploys.
While the option exists to disconnect your airbag, doing so renders one of your vehicle’s most important and effective safety features useless. Fortunately, with pedal extenders you can drive safely and confidently!
