Picture this:
You’re sitting at the front of the bus, and someone using a cane gets on. Would you offer up your seat?

In some situations, it’s clear cut when to use common courtesy. But other times, it isn’t always obvious what you should do.

What would you do if you saw someone at the grocery store struggling to reach an item on a high shelf? Would you ever use the wheelchair accessible stall in a public restroom?

Challenge our disability etiquette experts in 5 everyday situations – some of their answers might surprise you!

Our goal is to get 2,000 people to take the challenge this month and learn about disability etiquette. Every person who takes this challenge is one more person who can navigate those tricky everyday situations – and help create a more courteous world for all of us.

Etiquette isn’t just about which fork to use at dinner. Etiquette is about extending common courtesy and respect to ALL people. That’s why we educate others about disability etiquette – because it isn’t always easy to know what to do in every situation.

So after you test your knowledge against our experts, be sure to challenge your friends and family. We should all know how to use disability etiquette as part of our everyday lives.
